Plastic Dream

Plastic dream

A sample of work for a piece of dance-theater, physical theater, with an interdisciplinary artistic direction : lights, sounds and space are inherent characters of the piece. An insight on the unconscious with a journey on a dream and its abusrdity, its abrupt transition between imagination, nightmare and lucid dreams. The audience is in the head of a dreamer, that struggles with derealisation : he he/she awake, or has he/she never been ?

Ich! Eine Kollektive Sterbeübung

Trailer costumes and scenery of "Ich eine Kollektive Sterbeübung". The game with the masks and the robotic gestures evidence a distanciation with any human emotion. The trailer gives an impression on the overall atmosphere of the dance play.

Dancers: Lydia Steer, Maika Brüning, Sigrid Loss
Video mixing, direction and performance: Hortense Le Guillou

Kidults

Kidults

Just another paradox. Kid-ults reflection on mirror ball, two parallel atmospheres. One in a dark red smoky room, where the nights has never end. The red light shining with a disco ball and the smoke permits the bloody cloud, the blurriness of action, in a closed small room. The other one outside, a prism of color lights flashes, kids on the foreground dance. The disco ball is here the key element of the color design and its movement.

Deca-dansée

Deca-dansée

Deca-dance, or the contraction between dance and life. A short story of two souls seeking for bohemia, freedom, care-freeness. On one side the public characters walk along the streets, live in society, go backyards. One one side, their subconscious dance how it feels to be constantly out of the rails. The depravation accelerate during the stages of the scenario, rapidly falling into nothingness. The movement shows the characters both in-real-life and their danced holograms going to their destruction. No more sense because they killed it. This short movie was aimed to show the possibility to make dance and life telling the same story through different level of perception.
